Cevians, inventors of the night goggles, manufacture night vision optics and displays in Rosarito, seeking a Bright, experienced Manufacturing Manager who will develop into a **PLANT MANAGER.**
**Summary**:
- The Manufacturing Manager will be supporting our **Displays Business Unit,** establishing and directing **manufacturing labor, material resources, practices, processes, procedures, facilities, tools, and production equipment.**:
- This position utilizes “**lean manufacturing**” principles to minimize inventory, maximize throughput, and optimize facility utilization.
- The position requires broad technical experience in a **high-mix, low-volume,** fast-growing manufacturing environment.
- The team includes an **electro-mechanical assembler, optical bonder, inspector, test technicians, and manufacturing engineers.**:
- The manufacturing manager will also be supporting the** New Product Introduction (NPI) of multiple products in a short time in the market environment.**
Experiência y requisitos
**Qualifications: Skills, education, and experience requirements**
- BS degree in **Engineering**:
- A minimum of **5-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the aerospace industry**:
- Experience in **low-volume, high-mix aerospace and defense industry or Medical.**:




- Demonstrated ability to perform** PFEMA, DOE, SPC, and Six Sigma continuous improvement tools.**:
- Knowledge of **AS9100 quality systems and standards**:
- Good sense of **planning and project management skills**:
- Ability to improve processes and resolve technical problems
- Experience in managing employees, including training and coaching
- Experience with various types of adhesives, cleanroom practices, and environmental test equipment
**Competence & attitude requirements**:
- Effective written/verbal communication skills;
- Computing skills (Windows, Microsoft Office)
- Results-oriented, ability to work under pressure- Understand the requirements of OSHA (Safety and Health)
- Teamwork, Positive and Professional attitude
