**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Process Definition and Manufacturing Readiness with the following deliverables: Layout, Line Balance, Cell/Line Design, Material Presentation, Tooling and Fixturing, Process Documentation, Training and FPY
- Equipment / Technology Selection and Capital Justification / Approval
- Business Unit and Functional KPI’s tracking and performance: Scrap, Operation Supplies, Change Over, Standard Hrs
- Cost Reduction Projects
- Lean / Operational System Implementation within Business Unit: Standard Work, SMED, Poke-Yoke
- Root Cause Analysis, Preventive and Corrective Actions Implementation
- Safety & Ergonomics: Responsible to lead (in conjunction with functional team) Job Safety Analysis evaluation to detect, correct or mitigate safety risks and exposures
- Training & Development: Operations Training on critical operations, process definition, routing structure
- Continuous Improvement: Implement at least 1 improvement idea on a monthly basis - that impacts Cost, Quality or SafetyLayout - Responsible to define and control the layout and distribution of his business unit
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace or Automotive Engineering degree
- +5 years of experience on Metal Mechanic Processes such as Punch Press, Bending, Forming, Welding, Brazing, Paint, Fastening, Assembly, Electronic or Harnesses processes.
- MRP / ERP
- Lean Manufacturing or Lean Practitioner
- Six Sigma - Green Belt or higher desired
- CAD fluent - Solidworks, Inventor, CATIA, ProE
- Blueprint Reading - GD&T; Desired
- Core Tools
