**Role Summary**:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with expertise in accounting. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage day-to day accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings.
- Responsible for US GAAP accounting, reporting and analyses of data and other ad hoc requests for information
- Performing general ledger account analysis and Balance Sheet account reconciliations
- Prepare SOX controls
- Create and maintain process documentation
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and explanations.




- Collaborate with other finance functions to streamline accounting processes
**Requirements**:
- Intermediate verbal and written communication skills in English
- BS or BA Degree in Finance and Accounting and/or 3-5 years relevant experience
- Experience with General Ledger activities: prepare journal entries, accruals for month-end, year-end close, prepare reconciliations, resolve open items
- ERP knowledge with any of these tools: SAP, Oracle, Great Plains, Blackline
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
**Preferred**:
- Basic understanding of US GAAP or IFRS
- SOX control related knowledge
