In this role, you will leverage your healthcare background to handle digital clinical requests, coordinate patient documentation, and ensure seamless medical office workflows without direct, hands-on clinical exposure. **What You Will Do**:
- Monitor, prioritize, and clear electronic bins containing patient and pharmacy requests for forms, letters, and documentation.
- Prepare and process requests for medication prior authorizations, prescription refill verifications, and coordinate Durable Medical Equipment (DME) orders with vendors and insurance.
- Maintain precise, accurate, and rapid electronic documentation across multiple healthcare software platforms (XPM, EHR, eCW).
- Handle professional outreach and callbacks to families to verify requests, schedule necessary appointments, and deliver clinician-approved clinical messages or instructions.




- Utilize patient medical histories and systems like Florida Shots to reconcile immunization records and accurately draft school compliance forms.
- Route time-sensitive inquiries, messages, and questions to Clinicians, ensuring urgent tasks are flagged with an appropriate sense of urgency.
**What We Are Looking For**:
- Required Degree or Diploma in a health-related field (e.g., General Medicine, Nursing, Medical Clinical Programs, or equivalent medical background).
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience working inside a medical office, clinic, or healthcare operational setting is preferred.
- Previous customer service experience required.
- Substantial understanding of medical terminology is required; basic familiarity with CPT/ICD-10 coding is a strong plus.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with a mandatory background in customer service.
- Ability to strictly adhere to organizational data security policies and protect sensitive Patient Health Information (PHI).
