- The Material Planner ensures the timely procurement and availability of materials required for production.
This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively prioritize tasks, communicate with team members, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget **.
**The planner should have strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems and adapt to changes in plans.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets using project management tools.
- Coordinate with teams to ensure timely task completion and resource alignment.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement contingency plans.
- Maintain up-to-date project documentation and communication channels.
- Conduct post-project reviews to identify improvements.
- Plan material requirements based on production schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and resolve material-related issues.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.Analyze MRP outputs and adjust planning parameters as needed.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, management, or related field




- At least 2-4 years of experience in project planning or management
- Proficient in ERP systems (Oracle preferred), strong negotiation and communication skills, data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and make decisions quickly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skillsKnowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
**PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS**
- The role is primarily based in a manufacturing facility, requiring regular site visits and interaction with production teams.
- Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols.
- The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer.
- Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings, presentations, or site visits.Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.
