**- About the job**:
- We're looking for an **Account Manager - Polymer Specialties** to help grow our Polymer Specialties business across **Central America**.
In this role, you'll be responsible for driving profitable sales of organic peroxides and metal alkyls while building strong, long-term relationships with customers, distributors, agents, and internal teams.

**- In your future role as Account Manager - Polymer Specialties, you will**:
- Drive profitable sales and achieve revenue and volume targets across the Central America region.
- Manage and grow relationships with direct customers, distributors, and sales partners.
- Identify new business opportunities while expanding existing customer accounts.
- Develop sales strategies, account plans, forecasts, and annual sales budgets.
- Monitor sales performance and recommend pricing strategies to maximize growth.
- Collaborate with Technical Service, Customer Service, Marketing, and other internal teams to deliver outstanding customer support.
- Follow up on product samples and identify new commercial opportunities.
- Support contract compliance, billing accuracy, and customer issue resolution.
- Stay informed on market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Represent Nouryon professionally and maintain strong relationships throughout the region.
- Participate in regional marketing initiatives and continuous improvement programs.

- Fully fluent English (written and spoken) is required.

- **Able to work onsite 5 days a week at our Los Reyes plant.

- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of sales experience in the chemical manufacturing industry or a technical sales environment.
- Strong negotiation, project management, planning, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Proven success influencing customers, closing deals, and managing key accounts.
- Customer-focused mindset with a strong drive for results.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and perform well under pressure.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience working in manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of SAP, preferably within Sales & Distribution.
- Strong computer skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, and self-motivated.
- Collaborative team player with a high level of professionalism and integrity.

- This is a permanent, full-time, fully on-site role 5 days/week at our plant in Los Reyes (La Paz).
