**EHS Manager**
**YOUR ROLE**
In your daily job you will:
- Ensure safe work policies and procedures are developed, implemented, and followed on site.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable EHS regulations (local, state, federal), as well as corporate and customer requirements.
- Maintain required certifications and standards (e.g., ISO *****, ISO *****).
- Act as the main point of contact with regulatory authorities and manage all legal requirements, permits, and inspections.
- Implement and continuously improve the EHS management system (EOS), aligned with corporate and legal standards.
- Track and maintain EHS KPIs, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Ensure all incidents are properly reported, investigated, and resolved with effective corrective actions.
- Develop and drive prevention programs to reduce accidents, occupational illnesses, and operational risks.
- Lead and develop high-performing EHS teams and ensure program execution across operations.
- Ensure effective EHS programs for employees, contractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor performance through data and drive continuous improvement.
- Communicate EHS results in management forums and support decision-making.
- Coordinate internal, corporate, and external audits, ensuring timely closure of findings.
- Align with corporate EHS&S; initiatives, metrics, and general standards.
- Develop and maintain emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity plans.
- Drive accountability for EHS execution across all operational leadership levels.
**YOUR BACKGROUND**
Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:
- Completed bachelor's degree
- Strong knowledge of applicable legal requirements in environmental, occupational health, and industrial safety.




- Experience and knowledge as an internal auditor in EHS management systems (ISO ***** and ISO *****)
- Basic knowledge of machinery and equipment functional safety, focused on risk identification, control implementation, and compliance with applicable requirements.
- Practical knowledge of ergonomic assessments (NIOSH, RULA, REBA, among others).
- Familiarity with EHS induction, training, and compliance programs for new hires and site operations.
- Intermediate English- Ability to act as a change agent in driving a strong safety culture within the organization.
- Results-oriented with a focus on prevention, compliance, and continuous improvement.
