- Develop and implement commodity strategies for metals (aluminum, copper, steel) and mechanical/electrical components used across multiple sites.
- Conduct market analysis, monitor commodity trends, and benchmark pricing to maintain competitive cost structures.
- Identify and execute cost‐saving opportunities through strategic negotiations, supplier consolidation, and value engineering.
- Lead supplier business reviews to evaluate performance in quality, delivery, cost, and service.
- Manage supplier escalations to quickly resolve operational issues and ensure continuity of supply.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support collaboration, innovation, and long‐term partnership.
- Negotiate, establish, and maintain supplier contracts in alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
- Monitor contract adherence and drive accountability to agreed terms and service levels.
- Partner with procurement teams and stakeholders across three production sites to align and optimize sourcing strategies.
- Identify opportunities to standardize specifications, processes, and sourcing approaches to leverage economies of scale.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks,



including capacity constraints, geopolitical impacts, and commodity market volatility.
- Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to suppliers, commodities, and cost‐savings initiatives.
Experiência y requisitos
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in procurement or commodity management, preferably in a multi‐site manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of metal commodities and the related supplier base, with the ability to stay current on market dynamics.
- Demonstrated strength in negotiation and contract management.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
