**Essencial funtions and duties**
- Develop and monitor work plans and programs for the engineering area.
- Coordinate activities with different departments to achieve established goals and objectives.
- Coordinate the activities of Supervisors.
- Implement improvement projects to increase efficiency and quality in engineering work.
- Ensure that design changes, drawings, and specifications requested by clients are implemented promptly.
- Ensure the availability of direct support to the production area.
- Approve and implement procedures applicable to the department's operations.
- Coordinate and monitor changes requested by the client.
- Authorize and control the engineering work hours budget.
- Monitor all training, talent identification, and organizational development.
- Follow up on all audits and requirements.
- Drive and support initiatives that foster a positive work environment.
- Provide coaching in the development of key roles and responsibilities.
- Promote participation in continuous improvement initiatives within your department.
- Monitor strategic plans and programs designed to develop the organization's intellectual capital, from their inception to their return on investment.
- Follow and adhere to the organization's values, processes, policies, standards, and procedures
Experiência y requisitos
**Skills and qualifications**




- Bachelor's degree in Industrial engineer, mechanical engineer or similar profession.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar position.
- In-depth knowledge of Metal-mechanical manufacturing processes, welding codes, engineering drawing reading, project management.
- Strong understanding of lean tools and ISO **** certifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions based on regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and external clients.
- Proficiency in engineering management software and tools.
- Fluent English/Spanish (writing & reading).
- Able to frequently travel to facilities located in the United States as required
