A **world-class manufacturing company with a strong people-first culture** is launching a new operation in Pesquería and is looking for a **Buyer** to join its **start-up team**.
This is not a routine role.
This is an opportunity to **build the purchasing function, define supplier strategy, and directly impact the success of a new plant**.
**What you will do**
- Lead purchasing during the **plant start-up phase.
**:
- Build and develop the **supplier base from scratch.
**:
- Execute RFQs, analyze quotes, and support supplier selection.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms.
- Ensure supply continuity during ramp-up.
- Work closely with operations, engineering, and finance.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities from early stages.
- Support ERP implementation and purchasing processes.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and financial standards.




**What we are looking for**
- +5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement (iron-metalmechanic industry).
- Experience in **plant start-ups, new launches, or fast-paced environments** is highly valued
- Background in manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Strong negotiation and supplier development skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle is a plus).
- Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.
- **English mandatory.
