**Job Summary**:
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a **Process Engineering Sr Manager (SMT)**located in **Guadalajara, North Campus.
**
Reporting to the **Director, Operations Engineering,**the role is responsible for managing a team of process engineers working on improving process engineering capabilities to support a specific area of a manufacturing organization.
**What a typical day looks like**:
- Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems.
- Establish and improve process capabilities.
- Develop and maintain process documentation.
- Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications, delivery, and cost expectations.
- Work with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
- Improve throughput in constrained areas.
- Develop, test, and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and/or lower cost and manage cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas.
- Partner with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.




- Coordinate initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas.
- Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
**Experience we're looking to add to our team**:
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a Process Engineering Manager or Senior Process Engineer.
- Strong experience in SMT manufacturing processes, from solder paste printing through final assembly, including critical and advanced assemblies with high levels of automation.
- Extensive technical background in process engineering, with strong problem‐solving and optimization capabilities.
- Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency, able to effectively communicate with customers and deliver presentations.
- Proven experience in people management, including leading and developing engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience implementing Poka‐Yoke (error‐proofing) solutions.
- Experience with liquid cooling technologies is a plus (nice to have).
