Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled General Accounting Senior Analyst within our Integral Business Services (GBS).
This role will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day processing of general accounting transactions, ensuring accuracy in entries, while compiling financial reports and analysis.
Accountabilities
- Supervise the general accounting team with 2-7 direct reports, providing leadership, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment to drive performance and professional development.
- Oversee daily financial data entry in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and post journal entries and manage general ledger account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring all financial activities are accurately captured.
Prepare detailed financial data for management review and facilitate necessary adjustments.
- Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts, providing insightful variance analysis and reports that deliver actionable insights for informed decision-making.




- Review and present financial reports to ensure compliance with accounting standards and local regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial data and streamline reporting processes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the general accounting function, ensuring alignment with the company's financial goals and risk management strategies.
- Develop ad-hoc reports and support special projects, such as financial data analysis and process improvements
Qualifications and ExperienceEssential:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, Business Administration or a related field
- 3-6 years of relevant experience with general accounting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate reports.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a relevant field or Chartered Accountant designation
Technical Skills and KnowledgeEssential:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with Oracle ERP Suite and its related modules
- Familiarity with Hyperion Finance Management (HFM)
- Solid regional accounting knowledge (i.e., US GAAP and IFRS)
Languages
- Fluency in English and proficiency in Spanish, both spoken and written, is required.
- Portuguese is a plus.
**Collaboration First Hybrid Work Arrangements**:
This role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office at least three days per week.

Pay: $17,****** - $31,****** per month
