Descripción y detalle de las actividades
- Lead and manage the Test Engineering team, including engineers and technicians, across multiple product lines.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize test systems and procedures for HVAC units, including split systems, heat pumps, air handlers, and other components.
- Ensure all test protocols align with global standards, industry regulations and customer expectations.
- Collaborate closely with R&D;, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Operations to support product development and production readiness.
- Design and implement automated testing systems and data acquisition tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and traceability.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for test failures, field returns, and warranty issues.
- Lead the specification, procurement, and validation of new test equipment and infrastructure.
Experiência y requisitos
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.




Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in test engineering, including 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
- Experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or other thermo-mechanical systems is strongly preferred.
- Proficient in data acquisition systems, instrumentation, and test automation tools (e.g., LabVIEW, PLCs, Python, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
