**JOB TITLE**:Logistics Coordinator

**JOB SUMMARY**:
Responsible for managing and/or planning the purchasing, production, transportation, warehousing, and distribution of dry corn milling products sold in Mexico.
Manages the supply chain for all products, from order placement with GCLLC, receiving, storage, dispatch, and distribution, to report generation.
Works collaboratively with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Identifies improvements to logistics processes, such as calculating appropriate inventory levels, analyzing and defining delivery routes to optimize efficiency, etc.
Analyzes the development and improvement of internal and external processes to meet company objectives.
Conducts logistics studies to verify the financial feasibility of project implementations/changes, supporting the organization's strategic decisions.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Responsible for the logistics process of 150,000 metric tons annually (purchase and sale) of products related to the corn milling division in Mexico, both in bulk and bagged.
- Responsible for the traffic/logistics process to and from three sites in Mexico: Querétaro, Orizaba, and Guanajuato.
- Responsible for planning all operations involved in the supply/distribution chain for Corn Milling products.
- Develops a strategic plan aligned with company objectives.
- Ensures efficient supply to each site for all products we sell.
- Responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of products ordered by customers.
- Controls and reduces the business unit's operational and logistics costs.
- Directs, optimizes, and coordinates order cycles.
- Develops metrics and analyzes data to evaluate the performance of different operations/transportation and implements improvements.
**Responsible for complying with current laws, regulations, NOMs, NMXs and the requirements of the SQF code.
**:
- Analyzes the distribution procedures for commercial operations.
- Oversees daily activities, anticipates customer requirements, and maintains positive relationships with them, as well as manages the feasibility/viability of new business opportunities, all to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Keeps records of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transportation costs, and their efficiency.
- Monitors the performance of their area and implements necessary improvement actions in coordination with other areas (Quality, Production, Sales, etc.).
- Prepares reports and proposes actions,
in conjunction with the sales department, to improve the efficiency of the supply chain.
- Coordinates with the Fleet managers (dry vans, railcars, and truck-mounted hoppers) to ensure their proper functioning and availability.
- Performs other activities related to their functions as deemed necessary by the accounting/finance department (e.g., inventory management).
- Visit the different sites regularly (at least once a month) to monitor compliance with company procedures and policies.
- Comply with and enforce the company's quality policy.
- Optimally manage procurement and planning, i.e., internal logistics.
- Responsible for meeting demand while maintaining the best possible service, cost, and quality standards.
- Monitor the implementation of best practices and recommendations from our business partners.

**EDUCATION**:
- Bachelor's degree in food science, logistics, transportation, or a related field.
**EXPERIENCE**:
- 2-3 years in a similar position.
- Ability to lead and manage personnel (five people from the Mill's logistics/supply chain team report to this position).
- Knowledge of national shipping and delivery processes.
- Shipping product using rail (Kansas City Southern, Ferromex).
- Proficiency in import/export processes.
- Experience in land and sea transportation.
- Knowledge of customs regulations, tariff classifications, and certificates of origin.
- Relationship management with customs brokers and freight forwarders.
- Fleet management (trailers, dump trucks) - Route planning.
- Decision-making based on analysis.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Adherence to regulations.
