**About the Role**
As a senior member of the product team, you are expected to tackle complex technical challenges, deliver stories independently, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop detailed system requirement specifications and technical design documents for complex features.
- Write unit tests to ensure quality, performance, and functionality.
- Conduct and participate in code reviews to oversee team delivery.
- Support junior team members by reinforcing best practices for writing clean, maintainable code.
- Participate in sprint planning and other agile ceremonies.
- Work independently while providing regular status updates.
- Escalate roadblocks and challenges to leadership when necessary.
**Minimum Qualifications**
- 5+ years of experience in IT or relevant fields.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strategic thinking.
- Solid understanding of existing processes and ability to analyze legacy code.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge of DevOps concepts, telemetry, and alerting.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and test-driven development.
- Proficiency in some of the following technologies:
- **Java (Spring Boot framework)**:
- **DevOps and continuous delivery tools**:
- **Angular/TypeScript/Ionic/NgRx**:
- **Kafka and event-driven architecture**:
- **Relational & NoSQL Databases (Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB)**:
- **Intermediate to Advanced English level (spoken and written).
**:
- B.S. in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Remote position (no travel required).
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Master's Degree in Computer Science.
- Experience with **AWS** or other public cloud services.
- Familiarity with:
- Microservice architecture
- Docker & Kubernetes
- WebLogic, Tomcat
