This position is responsible for coordinating and executing planning activities related to the introduction of new products and the ongoing support of existing product lines.
This role ensures timely material availability, capacity alignment, and production readiness to meet project milestones and customer demand.
- Develop and maintain production plans for NPI and sustaining projects in alignment with engineering, supply chain, and operations teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product transitions from development to full-scale production.
- Monitor and manage material requirements, lead times, and inventory levels to support project timelines.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain, capacity, and production readiness.
- Support engineering change implementations and ensure mínimal disruption to production schedules.
- Analyze demand forecasts and historical data to optimize planning strategies.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on planning status, risks, and mitigation actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in planning processes and tools.
Experiência y requisitos




- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in production planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in NPI and sustaining project support.
- Strong understanding of MRP systems and planning tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP).
