- Position overview: We are looking for a Senior Designer to drive the design of payment and fraud prevention experiences across Brazil and LATAM.
This role acts as a strategic translator between market opportunities (PIX, digital wallets, fintechs, loyalty and mileage programs), user needs, and our client's capabilities—positioning design as the discipline that converts strategic intent into customer reality.
- By transforming insights about financial behavior and consumption habits into simple, secure, and differentiated customer experiences, the Lead Designer will ensure the payments and loyalty ecosystem delivers both customer satisfaction and business results.
This role will lead research, set design strategy, and evolve design systems to maintain a competitive advantage in a rapidly evolving market.
- Responsibilities: Lead the design direction for payment flows across digital wallets, fraud prevention, and checkout experiences.
- Translate complex financial and regulatory requirements into seamless, intuitive user journeys.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to define design strategy and deliver high-impact initiatives.
- Mentor, coach, and inspire other designers to elevate craft and strategic thinking.
- Contribute to research planning,



design strategy, and design system evolution.
- Champion accessibility, inclusivity, and data-informed design decisions.
- Requirements: Proven track record in designing payment solutions, with in-depth knowledge of Brazilian payment flows (PIX, wallets, banks, fintechs).
- Experience designing loyalty, mileage, and points programs.
- Strong portfolio showcasing user research, interaction design, and end-to-end product thinking.
- Experience leading design teams or mentoring other designers.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels.
- Good spoken Spanish (working language with the client's team).
- Good spoken Portuguese (important due to the relevance of the Brazilian payments market).
- Nice to have: Strategic mindset with the ability to align design with business outcomes.
- Passion for payments innovation and customer-centric design.
- Ability to thrive in multicultural, fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in the payments space (e.g., data privacy, financial compliance).
- Strong collaboration and leadership skills, fostering cross-functional trust.
