We are hiring an **Orangebox Interior Designer**a visionary thinker who transforms research into innovative, insightful designs.
You'll be a key stakeholder from concept to production, shaping our "Furniture for Life" philosophy with a strong focus on innovation, wellbeing, and sustainability.
This role will be instrumental in positioning Campers & Dens, our groundbreaking architectural solution redefining space planning for collaboration and focus.
**What You Will Be Doing**:
- Creates and develops design solutions for workplace facilities.
- Develops design assets to support training of designers, sales, and clients.
- Communicating with field sales and dealers to schedule scoping calls, determine requested deliverable and timeline, and provide overall project updates.
- Supports design efforts to ensure the successful transfer of research insights into design principles for thought starters, planning ideas, customer presentations, etc.
- Works with the New Product Development team to ensure contextual fit of new products into workplace setting types.
- Uses research and innovation to develop proposals according to trends in the global world of work.
- Coaches and mentors' others in the execution of interior design solutions using the brand's portfolio.
- Having an in-depth understanding of Orangebox products - Campers and Dens, Air3 Pods, On the QT, Away from the Desk.
- Revising technical and specific details for orders and mockups.
- Communicating and collaborating with the Steelcase internal teams regarding special requirements.
- Using the Salesforce CRM to track and manage assigned project details, register time worked on projects,



update project status.
- Supporting internal teams such as Product Marketing and showroom teams with design support.Develop and curate team resources.
**Who You Are**:
**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design, with a strong foundation in spatial principles.
- Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- From 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in design, architecture, or related fields, demonstrating hands-on project involvement at Steelcase.
- Solid understanding of 3D space planning, including layout optimization and visual presentation.
- Experience in conceptual design and technical specification, ensuring creative ideas are translated into practical solutions.Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe tools, with the ability to produce high-quality drawings and visual materials.
