PURPOSE
Responsible for processing INTL shipments for an assigned base of accounts.
Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
- Prepare profitable quotations accurately.
- Reply to overseas inquiries in a clear, concise and timely manner.
- Maintain clear oral and written communication with clients.
- Provide excellent and timely customer service by informing clients of the status of their shipments.
- Arrange inland freight services.
- Inform supervisor of any problems or irregularities discovered within assigned transactions.
- Actively pursue a better understanding of the INTL process through independent study, as well as courses and seminars presented by approved sources.
- Improve understanding and knowledge of the established INTL system, in both its basic and advanced features.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using units of U.S. currency, weights and volume and distance measurements.




- Accurate typing skills and/or data entry skills.
- Capable of communicating and interacting effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds and ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs and responds to requests for service and assistance.
- Ability to read, comprehend and write routine correspondence.
- Gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
- Balances team and individual responsibilities and exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views.
- Consistently at work and on time.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 to 3 years related experience.
- Minimum 1 year industry experience.
