**POSITION**: Bread Baker AM and PM Shifts available
**HIRING PAY RANGE**: $18 - $***** DOE
AM shift availability 8:00 am - 7 pm / PM shift availability 1 pm - 12:30 am
**DAYS**: TBD Weekend and Holiday availability is required
**STATUS**: Full Time
We are a large scale production bakery and we are looking for dependable, enthusiastic, dedicated, well-rounded individuals to add to our baking team!
With an emphasis on product quality our bakers are responsible for preparing all bread products for wholesale, from scratch, daily.
Depending on departmental needs, the bread baker will focus on one or several of the following each day: Rheon station, ovens, mixing station, preparation, roll station, etc.
We are open 364 days a year, weekend and holiday availability are required.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
_
- Experience baking bread from scratch is preferred.
- Food production experience with an emphasis on large scale production is preferred.
- Awareness that product quality is the primary focus.
- Have a good sense of time management and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication skills.
- Must be a cooperative, considerate team member.
- Possesses enthusiastic, polite, and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility and team spiritedness by willingness to perform all "as needed" tasks throughout production and to assist in all special projects.
- Able to positively accept constructive critique.
- Must be trainable on operating various types of equipment safely to perform job duties.




- MUST be able to work weekends and holidays.
- Willingness to work overtime is helpful.
- Bilingual is a plus but not required.
- **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS**_:
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire shift.
- Must have sufficient strength to perform duties and responsibilities of the position including moderate to heavy lifting of 50 + pounds regularly throughout shift along with ability to push and pull up to 100 pounds.
- Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
- Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
- Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
- Exposure to high temperatures (working around ovens) as well as moderate temperatures (proofers).
