**About the role**
Location: Mexico City, #LI-Hybrid
This role is based in Mexico.

The Benefit Specialist will be a member of the Rewards Team within the CoE.
This team provides support within the country and/or region.
The role of the Benefit Specialist is to provide Benefit support to all divisions located in Mexico mainly (but not restricted) and will also be leading Benefit Projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- The role is accountable for delivering the following Benefit Services: - Benefits Management including Pension Plans, -Benefits Communication, -Regional Project support, -Analytics, - Vendor Management, -Customer Driven Management.
- Planning: -Coordinate and support processes and projects as required, Maintain documentation (work instructions) and plan updates as required, - Coordinate with other C&B; peers in order to ensure proper project deployments.
- Monitoring & Control: Support the benchmarking capabilities of the function in both content and infrastructure and the successful use and maintenance of the C&B; systems, policies and tools used in assigned locations, -Ensure benchmarking matches are in place and discussed with/known by country C&B; expert, -Develop business cases if needed.
- Periodically monitor and review performance against SLAs and take action/corrective measures in case of issues; inform and / or escalate to Management as appropriate, - Ensure adoption and adherence to Novartis Rewards practices and guidelines, assuring that these are transparent to the respective organization.
- People & Organization: Interact mainly with P&O; BPs and Comp Experts, - Provide expert support for coaching the organization on HR processes,
Support cultural change and foster diversity and inclusion within the Unit.

**Role Requirements**
Essential requirements:
- University degree / Graduate degree
- +3 years of experience in Benefits
- Fluent English
- Mastery in excel, access and power point
- Solid experience in working in a complex, matrix environment with continuous change and conflicting priorities
- Excellent technical and analytical skill, Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-growing team - high-learning agility, Ability to work under pressure, Strong Project Management Skills, ability to prioritize and work in ambiguity.
Desirable requirements:
- Desirable - have worked in a corporate or Compensation Shared Services environment
- Desirable - have worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry
