Regional Buyer – America Location: San Luis Potosí, Mexico Industry: Automotive We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Regional Buyer to lead the procurement and management of assigned commodities across the Americas region.
This role is responsible for developing and executing commodity strategies, driving supplier performance, optimizing sourcing decisions, and delivering measurable value through cost reduction, risk mitigation, and operational excellence.
The idóneo candidate combines strong commercial and analytical capabilities with proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced manufacturing or automotive environment.




Key Responsibilities Strategic Commodity Management Develop and execute regional commodity strategies aligned with business objectives and operational requirements.
Conduct market intelligence and supplier capability assessments to identify sourcing opportunities and mitigate supply risks.
Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate sourcing strategies into broader business and operational plans.
Support sustainability initiatives and ensure sourcing decisions align with corporate environmental and social responsibility commitments, including customer requirements related to Conflict Minerals Reporting (CMR), Modern Slavery and Supply Chain Sustainability.
