This individual will be responsible for supporting and overseeing key accounting functions, including month-end close, general ledger activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, audit support, and cash management.The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a dynamic environment.
They will also bring prior experience supervising accounting teams or outsourced service providers and possess the ability to identify process improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee accounting operations and outsourced service providers.Support the month-end close process, including preparation of financial statements through Workday.Prepare, review, and approve journal entries and general ledger transactions.Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations.Analyze financial statements and investigate fluctuations in revenue, expenses, and trends.Monitor cash flow, bank balances,



and cash requirements.Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and process issues.Support annual audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests.Ensure compliance with tax, licensing, and regulatory requirements.Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to accounting resources and service providers.Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting.Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience within accounting.Preferred QualificationsStrong working knowledge of U.S. GAAPHands-on experience with Workday FinancialsExperience with month-end and year-end close processesFinancial statement analysis and reporting experienceGeneral ledger and account reconciliation expertiseStrong leadership and supervisory skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesRequired SkillsStrong experience applying U.S. GAAP principles.Experience using Workday Financials in an accounting environment.Strong background in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliations.Experience supporting audits and compliance requirements.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.This role is adecuado for an accountant who is strong in U.S. GAAP, Workday Financials, month-end close, financial reporting, and team leadership, and is looking to make a meaningful impact within a growing organization.
