The Opportunity: Data Science Lead, LATAM
We're looking for a Lead Data Scientist to own data science across our two LATAM markets, Mexico and Brazil. Both are fast-growing businesses operating with the speed and autonomy of a startup, backed by the scale and stability of an established group.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll lead a small team of data scientists across both markets while remaining an active contributor yourself — building models, shaping technical direction, and setting the standard for how the work gets done.
The two markets sit at different stages of maturity, and the role spans both. In one,



you'll be establishing foundations — infrastructure, modelling standards, and a roadmap to bring capability up to the level of our other markets. In the other, you'll be supporting a more mature practice as it advances model architecture and builds a more integrated approach to credit decisioning and portfolio valuation.
How You'll Make an Impact
Own the data science strategy and roadmap for Mexico and Brazil — what we build, in what order, and to what standard.
Remain hands-on, building and shipping models alongside the team.
Establish modelling standards, infrastructure, and delivery practices where they don't yet exist, and raise the bar where they do.
Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of data scientists across two markets and a wide range of experience levels.
