Inside Sales Specialist - Sustainability & Climate
MSCI is looking for a motivated and commercially minded Inside Sales Specialist to help accelerate the growth of our Sustainability & Climate business, including our Carbon Markets solutions, across the Americas.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to build expertise at the intersection of sustainability, climate, financial markets, and technology while developing a career in a client-facing commercial role.
You’ll play an important role in identifying and developing new business opportunities across a diverse range of client segments, including asset managers, wealth managers, banks, and corporates. Working alongside MSCI’s Sustainability & Climate Sales Specialists, you’ll engage prospective and existing clients, understand their evolving sustainability and climate needs, introduce relevant MSCI solutions, and help turn opportunities into long-term client relationships.
The role offers significant exposure across MSCI, with close collaboration across Sales, Product, Marketing,



Client Service, Operations, Legal, and Finance.

Your Key Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
Drive New Business & Build Pipeline
- Identify and engage prospective clients across key segments in the Americas through targeted prospecting and lead-generation activities.
- Build relationships with new contacts and help expand MSCI’s presence within existing client organizations.
- Qualify opportunities by understanding client needs, priorities, and use cases, and connecting them with relevant MSCI Sustainability & Climate solutions.
- Initiate new opportunities, secure prospect meetings, and partner with Sales Specialists to execute account and territory strategies.
- Manage a defined commercial target aligned with the broader Sustainability & Climate sales organization.
