1. Role Purpose
We are seeking a proactive and detailoriented Spot Buyer to join our Procurement team. This position is responsible for managing the daytoday purchasing of nonstrategic goods and services, ensuring alignment with internal guidelines, servicelevel agreements SLAs, and sourcing best practices. The Spot Buyer plays a key role in delivering efficient and compliant procurement solutions that support business continuity and cost optimization.

2. Key Responsibilities
Purchasing Execution
Process local purchase requisitions in accordance with defined category strategies.
Validate purchase requests for accuracy and determine the appropriate buying channel.
Collaborate with end users to clarify missing specifications or requirements for onetime freetext purchases.

Sourcing Activities
Identify suitable suppliers for specific needs or categories.
Utilize internal sourcing tools to initiate requests for quotation RFQs or eauctions in coordination with the eSourcing team.
Analyze quotations, negotiate terms, select suppliers, and support contract creation as needed.
Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders POs efficiently.
Support Compliance

Assist with supplier onboarding, data analysis, and contract management within assigned categories.
Provide guided buying support to users,



promoting adherence to procurement policies and educating on the correct buying channels.
Resolve purchaserelated issues and escalate complex matters to the appropriate stakeholders.

3. Scope of the Role
Manage the endtoend process of nonstrategic purchasing.
Ensure compliance with internal procedures and SLAs.
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to meet procurement needs promptly and effectively.

5. Qualifications Competencies
Education
Bachelors degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Languages
English Advanced C1 C2 level required verbal and written

Technical Functional Skills
Strong knowledge of procurement tools and systems e.g., SAP, SRM.
Proficient in esourcing platforms and Microsoft Excel.
Solid analytical and negotiation skills.

Preferred Experience
Previous handson experience in procurement or category management.
Exposure to regional or global sourcing environments is an advantage.
