Lead all accounting operations for the Mexican entity, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Financial Close.

Ensure compliance with Mexican GAAP (NIF), IFRS reporting requirements, and applicable financial regulations.

Oversee regulatory reporting obligations and relationships with relevant authorities.

Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.

Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.

Coordinate internal, external, and regulatory audits.

Maintain strong internal controls and corporate governance standards.

Partner with regional and global finance teams for consolidation and reporting activities.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes.

Lead, mentor, and develop the local accounting team.

Collaborate with tax stakeholders to support compliance with VAT, income tax, payroll taxes, and other statutory obligations.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across accounting processes, systems, and controls.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA / Contador Público).

Fluent English communication skills.

Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience.

Proven experience within SOFOMs, banks, credit institutions, lending platforms, or other regulated financial services organizations.

Solid understanding of internal controls, compliance frameworks, and corporate governance requirements.

Advanced ERP knowledge and strong financial reporting capabilities.
