Job Purpose-
Responsible for consulting for the clientto understand their reporting needs and delivering reporting solution to the client.

Job Description / Duties and Responsibilities-

Data Visualization & Dashboard Development:
Design and develop interactive, user-friendly Tableau dashboards and visualizations that cater to business needs.
Create custom visualizations and innovative solutionsto present complexdata in a clear and actionable manner.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Data Integration & SQL Expertise:
Write and optimize advancedSQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse large datasets from multiple data sources.
Work with various databasesystems (e.g., Dremio,MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshiftetc.) ensuring seamless integration with Tableau.
Develop data models and connections that best servethe visualization needsand optimize performance.
Security & Compliance:
Implement and maintain row-levelsecurity in Tableauto ensure data is accessed appropriately based on user privileges.
Integrate Okta authentication to provide secureaccess to Tableaudashboards.
Leverage Tableau security best practices to align with overall IT and data governance policies.
CI/CD and Development Best Practices:
Collaborate with the IT and DevOpsteams to incorporate Tableau development into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth deployment and version control.
Implement automatedtesting and continuous monitoring practices to streamline development and deployment processes.
Document technical specifications, development procedures, and processesfor ongoing maintenance.
Business Analysis & Collaboration:
Work closely with businessanalysts, data scientists, and IT staff to ensuresolutions align with strategic business goals.
Provide expertise and supportin translating businessrequirements into technical solutions.




Offer insights and recommendations based on data-driven analysis and industrybest practices.
Contractor Collaboration:
Function as a subjectmatter expert and resource for internal teams during the contract period.
Adapt quickly to projectchanges and work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Communicate progress,challenges, and findingseffectively with team members and management.

Job Specification / Skills and Competencies-
Technical Skills:
Extensive experience with Tableau Desktopand Tableau Cloud.
Strong SQL skills with proven abilityto write complexqueries.
Solid background in workingwith diverse relational databases.
Hands-on experience with complexrow-level security implementation.
Experience integrating Okta for authentication and Single Sign-On(SSO) solutions.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated deployment processes.
Comprehensive understanding of Tableau security best practices.
Soft Skills:
Demonstrated creativethinking and abilityto design innovative data visualizations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with diverse teams.

Experience:
5+ years of experience in Tableau development and data visualization.
Proven experience working in a contracting or consulting role is a plus.
Demonstrated trackrecord of delivering projects that involvemultiple data sources and complex analytical challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science,Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Knowledge of additional BI tools (e.g.,MicroStrategy) is advantageous.
Experience in industries such as finance,healthcare, or technology where data securityis critical.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
