Mroads is looking for a "QA Automation Engineer" for one of the direct clients in Mexico City, Mexico. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office every week.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright, Selenium, and API Testing. The idóneo candidate will have extensive experience designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks, developing robust automated test suites, and ensuring high-quality software delivery in Agile environments. This role is heavily focused on test automation, with hands‑on coding and continuous improvement of automation practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium WebDriver.
- Create and execute automated UI, API, and regression test suites.
- Develop API automation using REST Assured, Postman, ReadyAPI, or similar tools.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps,



GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and end‑to‑end testing.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers to resolve.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of experience in QA Automation.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Playwright.
- Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience in API Testing using REST Assured, Postman, ReadyAPI, or similar tools.
- Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, HTTP methods, and API validation.
- Experience with version control tools like Git.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
