As a COBOL Programmer, you will maintain and modernize critical applications on IBM mainframes. You will serve as a key link between legacy systems and modern business requirements, ensuring the stability and evolution of core processing environments in sectors like banking and government.

What You'll Do

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance COBOL applications for batch and online processing.

- Manage and optimize mainframe components including CICS, DB2, JCL, and VSAM.

- Analyze complex legacy codebases to identify and implement modernization and optimization opportunities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and updates.





- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot defects to ensure the reliability of mission-critical systems.

- Document system changes and workflows to preserve institutional knowledge and support long-term maintainability.

What We Are Looking For

- 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Mainframe Development, or Systems Programming.

- Proven expertise in maintaining and modernizing COBOL applications on IBM mainframes.

- Proficiency in mainframe technologies including CICS, DB2, JCL, and VSAM.

- Hands-on experience with both batch and online transaction processing systems.

- Strong analytical skills for debugging and optimizing legacy codebases.

- Advanced proficiency in English.
