**Position Role Type**:Unspecified** What You Will Do**:- Plans, designs, and reconfigures building equipment, machinery, buildings, and structures to ensure the optimal utilization of the organization's facilities.
- Assesses and evaluates the physical space requirements of the organization and recommends plans to meet needs.
- Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility.
- Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs.
- Ensures proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance.
- May supervise employees or outside contractors who construct, maintain, and repair utilities systems, buildings, and equipment via one or more of the following trades: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, air-conditioning, heating, painting, and/or general maintenance.
- Coordinates property control activities to ensure continual accountability of government, associate contractor, or company property in accordance with applicable government regulations or corporate policy.
- Arranges disposal of obsolete or no-longer-required material or equipment.
- Establishes actions and schedules for the maintenance of the building and peripheral equipment, ensuring proper operation, appearance, and compliance with applicable legal requirements.
- Coordinates contractor activities for various building-related projects.
- Measures and ensures the efficient use of the building's energy resources and production processes.
- Monitors, controls, and ensures the proper functioning of sustainability projects implemented on-site,
while also proposing improvements or new projects that provide economic and environmental benefits.
- Maintains effective communication and interdisciplinary collaboration (with Production, EHS, Quality, and Integral Facilities).
- Coordinates the maintenance and updating of site drawings, modifying them as physical changes are made to the facilities.
** Qualifications**You**Must**Have**:- University degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Civil, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance of corporate or industrial buildings.
- Technical Knowledge:- Electrical systems (medium and low voltage)- HVAC and environmental control systems (temperature, humidity, HEPA filtration)- Pneumatic, hydraulic, and compressed air systems- Infrastructure maintenance (roofs, floors, docks, lighting, etc.)- Local regulations: STPS, NOMs, CFE, Protección Civil, SEMARNAT- Project management for expansion or remodeling (construction management)- Advanced English (able to communicate with corporate or foreign suppliers and participate in meetings in English).
- AutoCAD, SAP, preventive maintenance management software, BMS or CMMS systems.
- Experience in coordination and administration of contractors.
** Qualifications We Prefer**:- **Certifications**: LEED, PMP, Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
- Experience in critical facilities (clean rooms, laboratories, test areas).
- Experience in fire protection systems, water treatment, and liquid nitrogen systems.
- Participation in Global or Shared Services Facility Management projects.
- Knowledge of AS****, ISO *****, and ISO ***** standards.
- Knowledge of work at heights, electrical work, and confined space operations.
- Valid visa.
