Operations Manager

Location: Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico
Gross monthly income: Up to $60,000 MXN + benefits above statutory requirements.
Position Objective
We are seeking an Operations Manager with solid experience in manufacturing and leadership of multidisciplinary teams, responsible for directing plant operations with a focus on Operational Excellence, productivity, profitability, safety, and customer service. This person will be a key member of the leadership team, driving the achievement of operational and financial objectives through disciplined management, talent development, and continuous process improvement.
Requirements
· Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree in Business Administration or Management preferred.
· Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in operations, manufacturing, planning, maintenance, quality, logistics, and continuous improvement.
· At least 3 years leading multidisciplinary operational teams.
· Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Black Belt, Project Management, or Operational Excellence certification preferred.
· Experience managing operating costs, productivity, OEE, inventories, budgets, and CAPEX.
· Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, advanced Excel, and performance indicator-based management.
· Advanced spoken and written English.
· Familiarity with corporate Artificial Intelligence tools (Microsoft Copilot) for analysis, documentation, and decision-making support.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Managing Director, this person will be responsible for:
· Leading a continuous manufacturing operation of approximately 100 employees, ensuring achievement of production, quality,
safety, and service objectives.
· Directing and developing the Production, Conversion, Maintenance, and Continuous Improvement leaders, strengthening a culture of high performance and accountability for results.
· Ensuring compliance with the production plan, service levels, delivery times, and requirements of internal and external customers.
· Managing operating costs, material consumption, labor, scrap, and inventories to ensure achievement of budget and financial objectives.
· Driving continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, cost reduction, safety, productivity improvement, and process standardization projects.
· Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, environmental, preventive maintenance, and corporate standards.
· Developing operational KPIs and executive reports to support decision-making by the leadership team and the Managing Director.
· Anticipating operational risks, capacity constraints, and investment needs to ensure business continuity and profitability.

Full Offer
We offer a gross monthly compensation package of up to $60,000 MXN, complemented by benefits above statutory requirements, including grocery vouchers of $2,520 per month, a punctuality bonus of $1,800 per month, and an attendance bonus of $1,000 per month, in addition to 30 days of Christmas bonus, 50% vacation premium, savings fund with a 3% contribution by the employee and an additional 3% contribution by the company, annual performance bonus (representing approximately +10% of annual income), as well as 20 vacation days per year (12 statutory days plus 8 personal days). We also provide life insurance for $100,000 MXN, major medical expenses insurance, funeral expense support of up to $15,000 MXN for immediate family members, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and scholarships for employees’ children’s studies ranging from $8,000 to $9,000 MXN per year. Additionally, we grant special non-official days off (May 10, September 15, December 12, December 24, and December 31) and operate under a weekly payroll scheme.
