POSITION SUMMARY The Production Coordinator will support the end-to-end production process, ensuring that purchase orders, production timelines, product specifications, samples, and vendor communication are properly coordinated and followed up to ensure on-time delivery.
This role will work closely with vendors, sourcing, logistics, design, product development, and internal teams to track production progress, identify potential delays, and support the resolution of production-related issues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and follow up on production orders from PO placement through shipment.
- Maintain accurate tracking of POs, production status, quantities, delivery dates, and ICDs.
- Communicate with vendors on production timelines, capacity, materials, samples, and delivery commitments.
- Follow up on WIP reports and ensure production status is aligned with internal planning.
- Monitor production timelines and proactively identify risks that could impact delivery dates.
- Coordinate pre-production samples, top samples, and approvals with vendors and internal teams.
- Follow up on product specifications, artwork, labeling, packaging, and other production requirements.
- Ensure vendors are working with the latest approved specifications and information.
- Coordinate with Logistics to ensure commercial documents, packing lists, shipping information, and pre-bookings are provided on time.
- Support PO creation, updates, splits, cancellations, and changes as required.
- Follow up on production quantities and ensure they match approved POs and demand.
- Escalate production delays, quality issues, quantity discrepancies,
and other risks to the appropriate teams.
- Maintain organized production files, reports, and documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Fashion, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in production, sourcing, purchasing, supply chain, or a related field.
- Experience working with international vendors and suppliers preferred.
- Experience in apparel, accessories, headwear, or consumer products is a plus.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple POs and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
- Advance English is required.

Success in This Role The successful candidate will ensure that production information is accurate and up to date, vendors are consistently followed up, potential delays are identified early, and orders move through the production process according to the agreed timeline and requirements.
This is a full-time, on-site position, based at our Santa Fe office in Mexico City, Monday through Friday.
