Job description: Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Materials Manager’s role is to provide leadership to implement and standardize at the site level best practices and continuous improvement regarding supply chain and materials management to support best in class service and margin improvement.
Main responsibilities: Partners with Business Units and Integral Management Teams to support the needs of the customer and targets.
Drives sourcing initiatives for margin and quality improvements
Owns and execute Amphenol S&OP; framework including HUBs demand and replenishment
Implement best practices standardization and continuous improvement initiatives for AX.
Owns physical inventory program including HUBS
Owns materials cost management projects.
Understand, follow, and comply with Amphenol’s code of ethics.

and comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) that refer to a common set of accounting principles, standards, and procedures.
Key performance indicators (KPI’s): On time to lead time equal or better than 98%
On time to request equal or better than 95%
DM PPV >1%
Freight Licenciatura en comercio exterior, negocios internacionales o a fin.
Inglés 90%
Experiencia mínima en puesto similar 5 años

Conocimiento en la cadena de suministro.
Conocimiento en sistema ERP/ Oracle/Microsoft Office
Manejo de personal.
