ROLE SUMMARY

This position is responsible to assist with preparing downhole and drilling equipment for upcoming operations.

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for/ensure

- Conducting all drills and checks as required.
- Preparation for upcoming drilling operations.
- Thorough handovers are provided at each daily change of shift.
- Inspect all tools and equipment prior to use to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Actively participate in Well Control drills as required.
- Make certain all loads leaving the rig floor with the crane are slung / rigged correctly and clean.
- Assist in maintaining and running the mud processing solids control equipment.
- Perform regular steel preparation and painting to maintain rig floor equipment and structure.
- Aid with deck operations as and when required
- Assist Derrickman in mud mixing operations when required.




- Any other matters as deemed necessary by Company Management

QUALIFICATIONS

- Preferably a bachelor's degree: Hight school degree or equivalent.
- Years of experience: 3 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably 1 year on the position.

SKILLS / ABILITIES

- Computer skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as a team player. Fluent English desirable.
- As per company training directives.
