You will be responsible for :

- ProcessesImport/ExportdocumentsincompliancewithMexicanandUSCustomsrequirements

- Coordinateslocaltraffic

- PreparesCustomsreportsasrequired

- Filesallcustomsrelateddocuments.

- ComplyandadheretoInternalCustomsDepartmentProcedures.

- ParticipateandpromoteactivitiestoimproveinternalcontrolsandrequirementsrelatedtoInternationalbusinessoperationsoftheCompany.





- Followsallcompanysafetypoliciesandothersafetyprecautionswithintheworkarea.EnsurescompliancewithEnvironmentalManagementSystem(EMS)responsibilities.Ishis/herresponsibilitytocomplywithCompanypoliciesandproceduresaswellaslocal,stateandfederalregulationsofthecountriesrelatedtocustomsactivity.

- Release import/export inspectionfrom Mexican Customs,when required. - Researchesinformation pertinent to machinery, equipment and tools such as brands, models, serial numbers, etc., to complywith Customs requirements.

- Control and followupdocuments to support the merchandise origin, Certificate of origin and/or Affidavit letters/Analyze all theBOM’s to determine the NAFTA classification for finished product and updatethe Customs database. - Process MX import permits for the different authorities.

- Mayprovide support to release FDA inspections.

- Supports procurement of department suppliesand resources(including vehicles).

- May participate on Internal Customsyearly forecast as well as financialanalysis and reports related to budget.

- Loads and updates merchandise/articles partnumber at Customs System related to daily activities

Qualifications / Requirements:

- A Minimum of High School Diplomais required.

- Customs TechnicalEducation or equivalent(Preferred).LeanCertification

- (Preferred)

- 4–6years of experienceor equivalent knowledge andskills, necessaryto satisfactory perform the positionresponsibilities.

- Or 50% College near completion (International Trades,Customs administration, Law,Economics, BusinessAdministration,Accounting, orCommercial Relations)Desirable.
