Experienced procurement professional with a background in indirect purchasing, supplier management, and purchasing administration. Proven experience supporting the full procurement cycle, including supplier onboarding, purchase order creation, requisition management, master data maintenance, shipment tracking, and issue resolution. Skilled in negotiating with suppliers, monitoring delivery performance, and ensuring timely procurement of goods and services.

Strong analytical and organizational skills with experience working in ERP/MRP systems, managing procurement data, and generating purchasing metrics and reports. Adept at collaborating with internal stakeholders and suppliers to improve processes, maintain accurate records, and support business operations. Proficient in Excel, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to thrive in fast-paced environments.

Position Overview
The Buyer – Purchasing Administrator is part of Insulet’s Integral Procurement organization, reporting to the Indirect Category manager.



The Buyer – Purchasing Administrator has two key Responsibilities:. First, s/he is responsible for administering Insulet’s purchasing system. This includes but is not limited to: requesting onboarding paperwork from suppliers, tracking weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics of supplier performance, managing the open order report, and working with Insulet stakeholders to refine the policies, procedures, and systems governing Insulet’s purchasing system.

Additionally, the Buyer – Purchasing Administrator is responsible for traditional buying, mostly of Indirect materials. Responsibilities: include negotiating with suppliers, converting requisitions to purchase orders and sending these to suppliers, following up with suppliers to ensure delivery dates are met.
