Job Description

Under general supervision, the Regulatory Specialist identifies, collects, and interprets science-based reports, data and regulations in order to prepare documents for government agencies, curates lists and/or develops Environment, Health, Safety, and Transportation (EHS&T;) information for the control and use of chemicals in the market place. The Regulatory Specialist provides advisory services to clients when requested which may involve local, regional, national or international knowledge of industrial or consumer sectors. The Regulatory Specialist utilizes relevant software and can contribute to troubleshooting and enhancement of these software products. May train junior regulatory staff. Interfaces with management to provide consultation on regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
- Uses relevant software to meet client EHS&T; needs.
- Uses regulatory knowledge to provide advisory services to clients and management for efficient EHS&T; services when applicable.
- Maintains current knowledge of applicable regulations relevant to specific job duties.




- Collaborates with multi-functional teams to improve and assist with testing of software; provides feedback to improve software products where applicable.
- Provides regulatory knowledge to support the Marketing and Sales teams as necessary.
- Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices.
- Performs other duties as directed.

Qualifications
- University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelor’s degree) in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Sciences, Toxicology, or a related discipline with relevant EHS&T; experience a plus or 4 years of directly related work experience.
