Remote Patient Coordinator / ASC Coordinator

Job Overview

We are a growing U.S.-based medical practice seeking an experienced Remote Patient Coordinator / ASC Coordinator to manage patient scheduling, follow-ups, procedure coordination, and communication with patients, providers, and Ambulatory Surgery Centers.

Previous Patient Coordinator experience in a U.S. medical practice is required.

This is a highly patient-facing and coordination-focused role. Strong English communication, organization, follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts are essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient appointments, follow-ups, and procedures
- Handle patient calls, messages, and emails
- Communicate scheduling information and next steps clearly to patients
- Coordinate between patients, providers, clinical staff, and outside facilities
- Track pending patient requirements and follow up until completed
- Document all patient communications accurately
- Maintain and update patient information in the EMR
- Assist with referrals,



records, authorizations, and scheduling-related tasks

ASC / Procedure Coordination
- Coordinate procedures with Ambulatory Surgery Centers
- Submit and track ASC booking forms
- Confirm procedure dates, times, and facility requirements
- Coordinate with providers, anesthesia teams, ASC staff, and patients
- Ensure required documents are completed before procedures
- Provide patients with procedure instructions
- Track cancellations and rescheduling
- Follow up on outstanding procedure requirements
- Maintain accurate procedure schedules and trackers

Required Experience
- Previous Patient Coordinator experience in a U.S. medical practice
- Experience handling U.S. patients by phone
- Experience with appointment and procedure scheduling
- Strong English speaking and writing skills
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to manage multiple patients and tasks at the same time
