Your New Role
- The position exists to ensure that the company's content assets are accurately accounted for, which helps the company make informed financial decisions and maintain compliance with regulations.

The senior accountant for DTC Content is responsible for maintaining and accounting for WBD's Direct to Consumer content assets and amortization expenses.



Include Cash payments and reconciliations. This individual ensures that these assets are properly recorded and reported in the financial statements, and compliance with accounting standards and laws. This role will ensure all deliverables are completed timely, and accurately.

Your Role Accountabilities
- Prepare accruals and other manual journal entries and related supporting documents, which include evidence of controls performed in SAP/PeopleSoft.
- Prepare supporting files to analyze the monthly activity of assigned accounts. Identify and highlight relevant P&L; variances between the current month and the YTD average. Report those variances to Accounting Manager.
- Prepare monthly reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts. Ensure appropriate supporting documentation is maintained.
- Participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to assist the Accounting Manager
