We are a full-service U.S. engineering and construction company seeking a Civil Engineer / Civil 3D Designer in Mexico for a long-term remote contract opportunity.

Our projects include a variety of commercial, retail, industrial and other land-development/construction projects. You will work directly with our in-house U.S. Professional Engineer (PE) to develop projects from initial site planning through permitting and construction.

Responsibilities

- Develop complete civil engineering designs and construction plan sets
- Prepare site development, layout, paving, parking and ADA plans
- Perform grading and earthwork design
- Design stormwater, drainage and detention systems
- Design water, sanitary sewer and site utility systems
- Prepare erosion and sediment control plans
- Perform required civil calculations and design documentation
- Develop Civil 3D surfaces, profiles, alignments, corridors and pipe networks
- Coordinate civil design with architectural, structural, MEP and other disciplines




- Research and incorporate applicable city, county and utility requirements
- Address permitting/review comments and revise plans through approval
- Support projects during construction by responding to design questions and preparing revisions as needed

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 2–3+ years of civil/site development experience
- Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills
- Experience with grading, drainage, stormwater and utilities
- Ability to develop complete civil design and construction drawing sets
- Fluent spoken and written English is required
- Must be comfortable communicating directly with a U.S.-based engineering team
- U.S. engineering/site-development experience is preferred, but not required
- Commercial, industrial, retail or other land-development experience is a plus

This is a long-term contract opportunity with consistent project work, working directly with our U.S. engineering and construction team and in-house Professional Engineer.
