Work Location

This is a hybrid position based in Mexico City, Mexico. Team members are expected to work from our Mexico City office three days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely on the remaining days.

Job Summary

What You’ll Do:
- Design, build,



and maintain highly concurrent, distributed backend services in Go (Golang) that power StrongDM’s proxy data plane (gateways and relays) and control-plane platform.- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and DevOps/SRE partners to translate requirements into working, well-tested code.
- Contribute to the secure handling of network protocols and cryptographic systems (TLS/mTLS, credential brokering, key management) within your area of ownership.
- Participate in code and design reviews, holding a high bar for performance, security, and maintainability.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues in distributed, multi-cloud production environments, collaborating with teammates on the most complex or ambiguous cases.
