Job Overview The International Accountant will be responsible for supporting the recording, control, organization, and follow-up of the company's accounting activities.

The position will ensure that financial information is accurately recorded, properly documented, and filed according to internal procedures and applicable Mexican accounting requirements.

The role will work under the guidance of the Finance Manager and will provide support in daily accounting operations, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, monthly closing, and basic tax and audit documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Record accounting entries (pólizas contables).
- Enter and maintain records of company expenses and income.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Review, organize, and maintain invoices and CFDIs.
- Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
- Consolidate, organize, and file accounting documentation.




- Prepare supporting accounting schedules and reports.
- Follow up on outstanding balances and pending accounting items.
- Assist with the monthly closing process.
- Prepare basic supporting documentation for tax and audit purposes.
- Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete, and properly documented.
- Support the Finance Manager with other accounting-related activities as required.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting / Accounting (Licenciatura en Contaduría Pública).
- Previous experience in accounting activities in Mexico.
- Mandatory experience using CONTPAQi accounting software.
- Knowledge of Mexican accounting practices and documentation.
- Experience with CFDIs, accounting entries, bank reconciliations, AP/AR, and monthly closing processes.
- English: Intermediate- Advanced

Compensation Monthly salary: $24,000$35,000 MXN gross, depending on experience.

Grocery vouchers (Vales de Despensa): $1,000 MXN per month.
