Position Summary

The Trade Compliance Analyst is responsible of supporting the Trade Compliance team with import and export operations for the Mexico region.



This position will focus on the maintenance of import and export files electronically according to applicable government regulations; physical and digital recordkeeping; submission of Value Manifest for all import-export operations; and support with tariff classifications of manufactured and purchased products while maintaining the IMMEX license in which Formerra participates. Additionally, the Analyst will support in the development and maintenance of corporate policies and procedures to ensure compliance with worldwide import and export laws and regulations. Some travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities

Support with all import and export related activities ensuring compliance with all relevant government import and export regulations and in compliance with Formerra policies and procedures.
- Submission of Value Manifest for all import-export operations in compliance with new Customs fiscal obligations.
- Maintain import and export files electronically according to applicable government regulations. Physical and digital recordkeeping.
- Support and follow-up with import and export classification of various products, software, and technology including but not limited to Harmonized Tariff Schedule
