Cyber Security Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our security operations team. This role is focused on monitoring, investigating, and responding to cybersecurity threats across enterprise infrastructure, including endpoints, servers, networks, cloud services, and communication platforms.

The idóneo candidate will possess a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and security operations, with the ability to analyze alerts, identify potential attacks, and recommend effective remediation actions. Candidates with a background in IT Support, Service Desk, Systems Administration, or Network Administration are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor security alerts and events from SIEM, EDR, email security, firewall, and network monitoring tools.
- Investigate potential security incidents and determine whether systems are under attack.
- Analyze threats affecting computers, laptops, mobile devices, servers, applications, switches, routers, and cloud environments.
- Identify vulnerabilities and security gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and engineering teams to implement remediation measures.
- Review and assess suspicious emails, phishing attempts, and malicious activity.
- Support incident response activities, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of security monitoring and detection processes.
- Document findings, incident reports, and remediation recommendations.
- Provide technical guidance on security best practices and infrastructure hardening.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in Cyber Security, Security Operations (SOC),



or a related IT infrastructure role.
- Strong understanding of:
- Windows and Linux operating systems
- Active Directory and identity management
- Email systems and email security
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs)
- Routers, switches, firewalls, and endpoint security
- Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments
- Experience investigating security alerts and security incidents.
- Ability to understand how enterprise technologies interact and communicate across the environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to recommend practical and effective remediation solutions.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Service Desk, Systems Administration, Network Administration, or Infrastructure Support role.
- Experience working within a mature security operations environment.
- Knowledge of SIEM, EDR, and threat detection platforms.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and industry best practices.
- Security certifications such as:
- Security+
- CySA+
- GSEC
- SSCP
- CISSP (desirable)
