Demand Planner / Demand Planning & Distribution Analyst — Fashion/Retail

We are looking for a Demand Planner / Demand Planning & Distribution Analyst to join our Supply Chain team.

We're looking for an analytical person with a strategic mindset who can turn sales and inventory data into decisions that impact product profitability and availability. This role is a key part of the company's S&OP; process — you'll work closely with the Supply Chain Coordinator and act as a link between Commercial, Purchasing, and Operations, helping align demand forecasts, supply capacity, and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

Demand planning and forecasting

- Take an active role in demand planning across all sales channels (Retail, Wholesale, and E-commerce).
- Build forecasts using both data and business judgment, based on:
- Sales history
- Market trends
- New product launches
- Promotional calendars

Supply and inventory management

- Work with the supply chain team, commercial team, and distribution centers to make sure products are allocated where they're needed.
- Balance service levels with inventory optimization.
- Manage inventory allocation strategies.

Performance and KPIs

Track and report on

- Forecast accuracy
- Fill rate / service level
- Inventory turnover
- Spot gaps and drive improvement initiatives.

Product lifecycle and launches





- Coordinate forecasting and supply planning for new products and limited collections.
- Plan for end-of-life products to avoid excess inventory.
- Work with general brand teams to keep local execution aligned with global strategy.

Systems and process improvement

- Keep ERP and reporting data accurate and up to date.
- Build dashboards for leadership visibility.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience as a Demand Planner, Allocator, Inventory Analyst, Planning Analyst, or similar role in multi-channel retail/distribution. Experience with formal S&OP; cycles is a plus.
- Experience in retail, fashion, beauty, or premium consumer goods is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel; familiar with planning systems.
- Comfortable working across teams (Commercial, Purchasing, Operations).
- Business-minded, with an understanding of financial and profitability metrics.
- Good communication skills and comfortable working with different stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strategic thinking.
- Intermediate English (able to read technical content and communicate with international brands)
- Forecast accuracy (MAPE, BIAS, and MAD metrics)
- Knowledge of inventory management: min/max levels, safety stock, reorder point, and EOQ (Economic Order Quantity).
