We’re looking for a Software Design Engineer III to join our automotive engineering team and contribute to the development of embedded software for instrument cluster and Head-Up Display (HUD) systems.

This role is adecuado for a senior embedded software engineer with strong experience in C, AUTOSAR Classic, CAN/CAN FD, CANoe, and automotive development processes, who enjoys working with customers and multicultural engineering teams.

? Key Responsibilities

- Drive upstream activities within the software development V-model, including requirements definition, system design, and verification planning.
- Capture, analyze, document, and manage customer and internal software requirements.
- Develop functional specifications and ensure requirements traceability.
- Work closely with customers to manage Q&A; and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Perform bench and vehicle testing, including on-site customer support when required.
- Report testing issues to software design teams and collaborate on corrective actions.
- Manage configuration, version control, change management, and development documentation.
- Mentor other engineers and provide technical guidance on software design and problem solving.

? Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field + 7+ years of experience, or
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field + 5+ years of experience
- Coursework or professional experience in Embedded Programming, Embedded Controls, and/or Embedded Systems Design
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively within multicultural teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
