* Establish and control production and assembly standards for products,
including systematically reviewing operational information and reports to
identify opportunities to improve safety, delivery times, quality, and
efficiency, while reducing costs.
* Conduct technical studies to optimize product characteristics and
specifications.
* Establish and/or modify processes for continuous improvement.
* Certify and/or modify documents required for product manufacturing (MIPs).
REQUIREMENTS
* 3 to 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, preferably in the
electrical transformer industry. Required.
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Required
(degree completed).
* Intermediate English proficiency (oral and written). Required.
* Problem analysis and resolution skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Time and motion analysis.
* Analysis and development of drawings or layouts.
* Design of fixtures and poka-yokes.
* Interpretation of bills of materials (BOMs) and manufacturing routes.
* Lean manufacturing techniques.
