Role Description As a Formwork Design Engineer at Masterscaff, you will design and optimize scaffolding and formwork systems for various construction projects. You will prepare detailed engineering drawings, structural calculations, and material specifications, ensuring safety, stability, and cost-effectiveness.

The role involves reviewing project plans, coordinating with project managers and site engineers, and providing technical support during installation and use. You will analyze loads, select appropriate components, and propose design alternatives to meet project constraints and timelines. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mexico City,



requiring close collaboration with manufacturing and site teams.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in structural and civil engineering principles, including load analysis and structural design of scaffolding and formwork systems.
- Experience with CAD and engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) for preparing detailed layouts, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of relevant construction codes, safety standards, and best practices related to temporary works, formwork, and scaffolding.
- Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings and translate project requirements into practical, buildable formwork solutions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with project managers, site engineers, and manufacturing teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field; professional certification or license is an advantage.
- Previous experience in formwork or scaffolding design in the construction sector is highly beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines on-site in Mexico City.
