About MAVI

MAVI partners with high-growth US startups and SMEs, embedding experienced finance leaders directly within their leadership teams. This is not a reporting role — you will own the finance function end to end and sit beside the founder when decisions get made.

The Opportunity As Head of Finance, you will own the complete finance function for US clients — accounting, planning, and cash — leading a team and acting as the senior finance voice to founders and CEOs.

What You Will Own

- Own the P&L;, balance sheet, and cash flow for US clients
- Lead the full finance function — close, reporting, planning, and controls
- Build and own forecasts, budgets, and cash runway models
- Present monthly results and KPIs directly to founders and leadership




- Manage and develop a team of accountants and analysts
- Act as the senior finance partner to US founders and CEOs
- Build the finance infrastructure that lets clients scale

What We're Looking For

- 7+ years of finance experience, including 3+ years leading a team
- Strong US GAAP expertise and experience reporting to US stakeholders
- Ownership of both accounting close and FP&A; — you've done both, not one
- ERP experience (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
- CA / CPA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent) strongly preferred
- Excellent business English — you will present to US leadership weekly
- Ability to work with US time zone overlap
